To celebrate the passing of one of our beloved guests and friends Mr. Leon Fontaine, we’ve created a short tribute and have decided to re-air our interview to honor his memory.
In the original airing of this episode Constitutional Lawyer Leighton Grey and Leon Fontaine have a conversation about the challenges our society has faced in a post pandemic world, how we can all benefit from aiming to be the best version of ourselves possible, and why God should play a role in what we all do next.
Leon is a conference speaker, author and talk show host; he is the CEO of Miracle Channel, Canada’s original Christian television station; and he and his wife Sally are the senior pastors of Springs Church, one of the fastest growing churches in Canada. Leon Fontaine has studied and lived leadership for over 35 years. His early training as a paramedic forged his desire to help people of all walks of life — physically, mentally, and spiritually — and for the last three decades, he and his wife Sally have done just that from their home base of Springs Church in Canada, one of the country’s fastest-growing churches.
Leon has a powerful and practical teaching style that keeps his audience coming back for more. Using the Spirit Contemporary® style he has made famous, Leon empowers people to be led by Holy Spirit in their everyday lives and, at the same time, gain influence with the people in their world like never before. Leon Fontaine’s passion for a current events commentary that offered an intersection of knowledge and wisdom has been percolating for years. Recent events in Canada and around the globe have propelled the conversation forward. The erosion of freedoms has never been so widespread and the need for unbiased journalism is more important than ever.
Pastor Fontaine opens up about his journey into spirituality and how it has helped him make sense of the world, the importance of finding purpose in our lives and the work we do, and why younger generations are reluctant to participate in traditional religious practice.
